Ruling out the possibility of the formation of a forward bloc in the National Assembly as well as the Punjab Assembly, ‘estranged’ Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen said on Wednesday that he and other members of his group were part of the PTI, and would remain so, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media outside the Judicial Complex in Lahore, Jahangir Tareen said he had never shied away from appearing in courts.
He claimed that he had given a complete money trail to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in his cases. “There is no mention of the word ‘sugar’ in the three FIRs registered against me,” he further claimed.

He added his lawyers had a detailed discussion with Barrister Ali Zafar, and hopefully he would come up with a report on his cases soon.
Calling Prime Minister Imran Khan the man who believed in justice, Tareen hoped that justice would be done to him in his cases too.
Dispelling the impression that the formation of his group within the PTI was a new development, Tareen said there were groups in every political party.
The ‘estranged’ PTI leader accused the Punjab government of victimizing him.

Earlier, Additional Session Judge Hamid Hussain extended the interim bails granted to 11 suspects, including Jahangir Khan Tareen and his son Ali Tareen, in a money laundering case till May 31.
Similarly, Banking Court Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan also extended the bails granted to Tareen and other suspects in fake bank accounts case till May 31.
Member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) from Lodhran Nazir Khan Baloch, Chaudhry Zawar Warraich, Salman Naeem MPA, Khurram Khan Leghari, another MPA, Punjab Minister Ajmal Cheema, Tahir Majeed Randhawa, MPA, Sajjad Warraich, Sahibzadar Mehmood Sultan and Nazir Chohan accompanied Jahangir Khan Tareen to the courts.
