College students baton-charged in Lahore

A large number of students of Government College Gulberg staged a protest at Lahore’s Kalma Chowk on Thursday against eviction of students from college hostel belonging from Gilgit Baltistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police carried out baton charge on the students and arrest some of them as well as the protest turned violent.
The protest initially disrupted the traffic flow but later the police managed to clear the thoroughfare.
