Fazl says will never recognise illegal government despite threats, lures

Pakistan Democratic President and Jamiat-e-Ulma-e-Islam-Fazl supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman Sunday reiterated the resolve to get the country freed from the illegitimate government.
He said it was not possible for him to recognize this government despite threats and attractions offered to them.
He said Pakistan states all around the world depend on their economic strength and when the PML-N government had presented its last budget the economic situation of the country was much better and future was predicted to bring more prosperity but this inefficient government has destroyed the Pakistan’s economy.
Referring to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recent speech in which he revealed that Kh Asif had telephoned COAS when he thought he was losing the election, Fazl said the PM tried to implicate that army was involved in the rigging.
He said one should be aware of such stupid friends.
He said people’s purchase power has been ended and the rising inflation has put a constant misery on the lives of the masses.
He said he has been being forced to accept a government that came into the power as a result of rigging for two years but he cannot accept the puppet-government.
He questioned whether Imran Khan had not proposed three-part formula for Kashmir?
He said it was the failure of the government that Narendra Modi had annexed Kashmir.
Fazl said Imran promised to give 10 million jobs but wondered nobody thought that since the independence even overall such number of jobs could not have been given to the people.
He said such vague promise has ended in the rising unemployment and 2.6million people close their jobs instead.
He said the government was trying to revoke 18th amendment but they would not allow such thing to happen and they would defend the rights of the provinces.
Fazl said nobody but only Sindh people can decide the formation of another province.
He also declared the foreign policy of the government as a total failure and said government’s policies have deserted Pakistan from its friends in the world.
In a reference to China and CPEC, Fazl said the government has also compromised that friendship which has always been dubbed as higher than Himalaya and deeper and the projects under this friendship, which were supposed to bring prosperity for the country, have come to a standstill.
Fazl said Pakistan’s economy has been tattered and even the currency value of Afghan rupee has been more than Pakistani rupee.
He claimed that still there was no peace in the tribal areas and there are great restlessness and uncertainty among the people.
Fazl said they want a democratic and constitutional change that can be come through a vote.
He said they are as respectable as claimed by any institution and they were not animals that they accept any offer.
Fazl said, however, that the political parties were as respectable and important for the country as any other institution.
