The mobile service would remain shut on MA Jinnah Road, Karachi and its surrounding areas where a big Eid Milad procession would pass.

Big processions will also be taken out in Hyderabad. A big rally was taken out under the aegis of Jamaat Islahul Muslemin in the city.

In Bahawalpur, 34 processions were taken out on the traditional routes. The main procession was taken out from Shikar Puri Gate. Security officials and policemen were deployed all along the procession routes.

In Lahore, the Eid Milad celebrations were started with the 21-cannon gun salute. The active Pak Army troops presented the gun salute.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would be celebrated across the country in an unprecedented way. He will participate in an Eid Milad function at Convention Centre, Islamabad later today.
