First rain of winter season witnessed in Swat, Mingora, Abbottabad 

The first rain and hailstorm of the winter season were witnessed in different parts of northern areas including Swat, Mingora and Abbottabad on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Swat’s upper areas Matta, Sakhra, Madyan, and Bahrain received heavy rains and hailstorms on Wednesday evening.
Due to heavy rain and hailstorm, crops were damaged in Swat while coldness enhanced in the city as the temperature fell down to 15 degrees.
As per the channel’s weather report, Mingora also receives heavy rains with lightning and thunder which dropped the temperature in the city and adjacent areas.
Abbottabad also received the first shower of the winter season. Rains made the weather cool in Galyat and Thandiani too.
