Punjabi Mushaira held outside Guru Nanak Shrine in Kartarpur

A Punjabi Mushaira Wednesday was held in the open-air outside of the Darbar Sahib Baba Guru Nanak Devji Kartarpur Complex in Shakargarh between Pakistani and Indian Punjabi poets, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Huge number of poets both from Pakistan and Indian Punjab participated in the Mushaira and the women danced the traditional Punjabi dance “Luddi” on the conventional poetry.
The mushaira was held under a program called “Sanjhi Baithak Punjab Di”.
Indian poets Nirmal Singh Brar, Nirmal Kaur Kotla, Devinder Kaur Dhillon, Samarjeet Grewal, Noorani, Kishore Lal, Surinder Kaur from Amritsar, Kiran Bala, Baljit Kaur and Sabir Naz, Bashir Kamal, Dr. Nadeem Maulana, Farooq Maulana, Javed Kanwal Musa Puri, Buta Shakir, Rab Nawaz, Nargis Noor, Noor Al Ain, Parwa Masood from Pakistani Punjab brought the Punjabi culture and civilization to life and sorrow to the listeners through their words.
Upon arrival at the venue, the Sikh-Indian guests were given a very warm welcome. After the dance, Sanjhi Baithak Punjab di and Vishuk Nari Steak Munch Amritsar gave shields to the participants.
Indian poets said that the love they received from Pakistan is a memorial and described the Kartarpur Corridor as a corridor of peace and security. Saropas was also presented to the guests by the Darbar’s management.
