PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Saturday questioned why the government had panicked after Nawaz Sharif started speaking and challenged that his voice would reach every home.
In a tweet, she dared the government to stop this and also recalled the events during the 2014 sit-in organised by the PTI without naming Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Maryam said Nawaz had not stopped the coverage of or used PEMRA (Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority) against those using abusive language on the container, promoting hundi and civil disobedience, tearing electricity bills and attacking state property as well as police.
The comments came as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill warned that strict action would be taken against those airing the address of “convicted proclaimed offender” Nawaz Sharif to the All Parties Conference (APC).
Talking about the gathering of opposition parties scheduled for Sunday, Gill said the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) and other legal options would be used if his speech was shown on TV.

But this did not deter Maryam from telling her followers that they were working on substitutes.
Responding to tweep who suggested that the party should use social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube for live streaming Nawaz Sharif’s speech from London, she said they were already doing so.
We are doing that Insha’Allah. https://t.co/Cnw5njHJoc

Meanwhile, PML-N MPA Sania Ashiq shared the images of Maryam in which she can be seen ordering food items for her staff at a famous fast-food outlet located on the Bhera service area of Islamabad-Lahore Motorway.

The PML-N vice-president was on her way to Murree where she would spend the night. On Sunday morning, she would reach the opposition leader’s residence in the Ministers’ Enclave in Islamabad and later attend the APC.
