CM Maryam directs to take action against transporters charging extra fare

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed transporters to decrease transport fares immediately, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to details, after a notification issued by the Punjab government regarding reduction in transport fares, local administration already in action to implement new fares. Private transporters already issued a schedule about new fares.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed to start grand operation against those transporters willfully avoid to charge new fares.
It is necessary to mention here that a reduction of Rs40 to Rs250 notified in transport fares and anyone who found involved for charging extra fare will have to pay Rs5000 as fine.
