Pakistan to host World Youth Scrabble Championship from August 7

Pakistan will host the international brilliancy event of the World Youth Scrabble Championship (WESPA) from  August 7.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Pakistan’s six-member team has been finalized for participating in the scrabble championship that would be played online.

Pakistan team for the WESPA was selected through a two-stage qualifying competition in which more than 60 players participated.

Pak scrabble player Hisham Hadi Khan won the tournament remaining unbeaten. Ali Salman remained second and Usman Shaukat received the third position in the competition.

Syed Emad Ali became fourth, Affan Salman fifth and nine-year-old Ahmed Salman sixth in the event and were selected in the national team of Pakistan to compete in the WESPA.
