Bid to blow up rail line in Hyderabad foiled

Law enforcers foiled a terror bid by defusing a bomb planted to blow up a railway track in Hyderabad district of Sindh province, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.  

A bomb was planted at Sehrish Nagar Crossing in Hyderabad, the bomb disposal squad said, adding that it was an improvised explosive device (IED) and was defused.

All major trains from Karachi scheduled to hit the track in the evening were stopped at the Kotri railway station, police said.
