Three passengers die as landslide hits bus in Kohistan

Three people, including the Pakistan Army jawan, were killed while several others were injured after debris from a mountain fell on a bus on Karakoram Highway in upper Kohistan on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescuers said that one of the deceased belonged to Rawalpindi, while the other to Gilgit-Baltistan.

They further said that the dead as well as the injured had been shifted to a hospital.

The condition of four of the injured was critical, they said, adding that an ambulance had been sent to the area to participate in the rescue operation.
