Two men kill wives over domestic disputes in Lahore, Chichawatani

A man shot and killed his wife over domestic dispute in Barki area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to police a man named Aftab of Berki village shot his 34-year-old wife Sobia.

Sobia was shot in the chest and was shifted to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The police shifted the body to the mortuary for post-mortem.

The accused escaped from the spot and will be arrested soon, police claimed.

Meanwhile, in another incident of murder, a man killed his wife by stabbing her with an ax over domestic dispute in village 75 12-L of Shahkot, a suburb of Chichawatani.

On receiving the information, Shahkot police reached the scene.

According to police, the victim Sughra Bibi was married to the accused Qayyum one and a half years ago.

Shahkot police arrested the accused and recovered the murder weapon.
