Election 2024: Chahat Fateh Ali Khan registers political party, shares video from National Assembly

Famous Pakistani musician Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, whose real name is Kashif Rana, has decided to form a political party and has reached the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Talking to media outside the Election Commission, he said he was always interested in politics.
“ I came to the Election Commission for the registration of my political party," Chahat Fateh Ali Khan said.
“ The party registration form has been received, whereas the name and manifesto of the party will be revealed soon," he added.
Taking to ‘X’ formerly Twitter, Khan shared a video of himself from the National Assembly, Islamabad.
“From National Assembly, MaShaAllah… I am here for the first time in the National Assembly, Islamabad.
Be ready all of you InShaAllah… I will win the election and there will be only happiness as there will be a new political agenda in Pakistan”, he said.
Further, he hoped there would be love, forgiveness, and greenery everywhere in all provinces.

It is to be noted here that the British-Pakistani singing sensation who went viral on social media for his unique singing videos, has submitted his nomination papers for the National Assembly (NA) seat.
He filed nominations from Lahore's NA-128 as an independent candidate.
