Pakistani popular singer, composer, and songwriter who is known for his hit drama OSTs, ISPR songs, and commercial songs revealed something about the renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in a live show.

So, let's discuss!

Sahir Ali Bagga appeared as a guest in Samaa TV’s show 'Coffee with Samaa' hosted by Naeem Hanif and Bushra Khan where he revealed that his popular ISPR song 'Mujhe Dushman Se Badla Lene Jana Hai' was refused by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Talking about the song, Sahir Ali Bagga said, “I was so devastated after the incident in which kids lost their precious lives. I made the song, it was sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan even though he also took the money. He was paid for the tribute song, but one day he called and said, ‘Sorry friend, I can’t do it because I am afraid of signing it’.

"I then thought to do it differently, my son was constantly coming into my mind, also it was an incident in which kids like my son lost lives, so! I did it with him. I called my son and recorded it. When he was singing, I had tears in my eyes”.

A few days ago, the ace composer and singer also made headlines for his aggressive post about Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

In the post, he accused the legendary singer of not giving him credit for his composition Zaroori Tha.

Bagga dubbed Khan a “hypocrite”, Bagga said that if he called someone a hypocrite he “called every person a hypocrite who wants to hide the truth and is trying to kill someone’s right”.

He requested that he be given credit for the song because it was his “right” and because he did not want junior artists who idolised him to “face problems in their struggle”.

“Apart from this I have no intention of saying anything bad about anyone,” he concluded.
