Committees formed to detect anomalies in Finance Bill, 2024

Two committees have been constituted to detect business-related and technical anomalies in the federal budget’s Finance Bill, 2024 and give recommendations for their removal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

FPCCI Standing Committee Convener Malik Khuda Bux said on Thursday that FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh and APTMA Patron-in-Chief Gohar Ejaz will head the committee formed to detect business-related anomalies.

Bux further said that by removing such anomalies, the issues confronting the business community would be effectively presented.

“On the other hand, Audit Firm’s PMG Adnan Rizvi will head the anomaly committee (technical),” he said, adding that other members of these committees are leading businessmen from various chambers of commerce and financial institutions.
