In a swift operation, Gujar Khan police have arrested five individuals accused of abducting and torturing a Wapda official, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.

The arrested suspects include Irfan, Shaan Qamar, Imran Bani, Gulfam, and Arbab.

The incident occurred when the Wapda official was investigating a report of electricity theft. The suspects allegedly abducted the official, subjected him to physical abuse, and mistreated him.

Chief Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani stated, "All legal requirements will be fulfilled to ensure the accused are punished for their actions."

Further investigations are underway, and the police assure the public that justice will be served.
