Poliovirus detected in five districts

Poliovirus has again been confirmed in the six environmental samples obtained from five districts of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The virus was detected in samples taken from Quetta, Chaman and Pishin while it was also confirmed in environmental samples obtained Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas.

So far five children have been affected from the poliovirus in Pakistan this year and one of them had died.
