Afghanistan beat West Indies Wednesday comprehensively by 56 runs during their warm-up match for the ICC World T20.

The openers Lendl Simmons was done and dusted by Mohammad Nabi for a duck. Another opener Evin Lewis walked back to the pavilion for just three runs.

Nabi with his experience tightened the screw for the West Indies batsmen. Roston Chase (scored 54 runs) and Nicholas Pooran (scored 35 runs), were the only two batters who showed display with the bat.

In the first Innings, Afghanistan with the help of fifties of  Hazratullah Zazai and Mohamad Shahzad, managed to post mountain total of 189/5 against West Indies in the warm-up match. Zazai scored 56 runs off 35 balls with 8 fours & 2 sixes while Bavuma smoked blazing 54 off 35 balls with 6 fours and single sixer.

For West Indies, Obed McCoy picked up 3 wickets by conceding 43 runs, while Rampaul, Walsh and Russell grabbed 1 wickets each.
