Another 150 protesting teachers arrested in Lahore

Police on Thursday arrested as many as 150 teachers who were protesting on Lower Mall Road of Lahore against detention of their colleagues, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the protest, the police broke up their protest and arrested the teachers, and locked them up at different cells in the police station.
The police officials said that more arrests of demonstrators are expected for disrupting traffic on Lower Mall.
The teachers were protesting against the earlier arrest of their colleagues who were also protesting against the reduction in pension benefits.
