Martyr Sepoy Sajid Azam laid to rest

Pakistan Army martyr Sepoy Sajid Azam was laid to rest with full military honour in his hometown Kotli in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Shaheed Sajid Azam passed away during an operation against terrorists in Asman Manza area of South Waziristan District.

The 31-year-old Sepoy Sajid Azam Shaheed who was a resident of District Kotli Azad Kashmir embraced shahadat on October 16. His funeral prayer was offered in Nakyal.

“Armed Forces of Pakistan stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all costs,” the ISPR said.

Senior serving military officers, the martyr’s relatives and locals of the area attended the funeral.
