Man commits suicide after receiving excessive electricity bill in Punjab

A young man Tuesday committed suicide by taking a noose after the electricity meter was cut off in the area of Mohalla Muzaffarabad in Arifwala, Punjab.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the electricity meter of Waqar Ahmad's house was cut off for not submitting the excessive electricity bill.
The neighbours said due to poverty, there were frequent quarrels in the house of young Waqar with her wife who shifted to her parents' home with children some days back.
Locals said Waqar used to work as a dry cleaner in Mohalla Muzaffarabad and was living in dire conditions for some days.
