Lahore Police has secured the top position among major cities in Punjab according to the Chief Minister’s Performance Indicators, achieving over 68% of the points, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister of Punjab had established "Key Performance Indicators" (KPIs) to assess the police department’s performance. Lahore Police excelled in these KPIs, scoring 68.84 points.

CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana stated that Lahore Police will continue to improve its performance under the Chief Minister's directives.

According to the June and July reports presented to the government, Lahore Police ensured the timely registration of FIRs and conducted investigations on merit. Under the Chief Minister's special instructions, complaints from children, women, and vulnerable groups were prioritised.

A comprehensive strategy was developed to tackle lawbreakers, resulting in large-scale operations that helped control crime. Lahore Police plays a crucial role in delivering justice to victims through professional and high-quality investigations.

Intelligence-based operations have been conducted to crack down on drug mafias, ensuring the rule of law in the provincial capital. Lahore Police's effective strategies have ensured peace in the city. The police are also supporting the families of martyred officers by providing homes and assistance for their children's marriages, as well as offering quality education and healthcare.

Public-friendly policies, such as open courts in mosques and offices, are being implemented, and complaints from citizens are being addressed through the Complaint Management System.

Under special initiatives, world-class police stations, offices, and other development projects are being rapidly completed. Lahore Police remains at the forefront of protecting the lives and property of citizens and delivering services.
