As many as three persons have been killed while 11 have been injured in two separate rain-related incidents in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), while on the other hand floods have destroyed people’s homes and inundated crops in some parts of southern Punjab and Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

One labourer was killed while four were injured after the roof of a government school caved in at Daharki in Sindh due to recent monsoon rains.

Police said the condition of three of the injured was critical and had been shifted to a hospital in Sukkur.

The Force informed that the labourers were busy in the construction when the incident took place.

Revealing the identity of the deceased, the police said his name was Ubaidullah, and was 25 years old.

In another incident, reported from the outskirts of Bannu, the roof of a house collapsed after it was struck by lightning, killing two women and injuring seven.

Floods damage over 30 homes in Jampur

Over 30 homes have been badly damaged while wheat stocks have been washed away in Jampur by floods.

But to make matters worse, nobody from the administration has come to the rescue of the victims so far.

Complaining that they have been sitting out in the open for the last three days after losing their all belongings, the affected people have appealed to the government to provide them relief.

Inundation of several villages in Qambar Shahdadkot feared

On the other hand, the situation in Qambar Shahdadkot is not better either as there are fears that several villages may be flooded since the breach that had developed in RBOD nullah following floods in 2022 has not been plugged so far.

The situation has led to panic among residents of the area who have appealed to the government to save them from impending disaster.
