‘Wasim Akram’ arrested for train bomb hoax

A passenger who spread a bomb hoax on the Baba Farid Express train was arrested at Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Railway Station on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The police have arrested the accused named Wasim Akram and lodged FIR as per the Telegraph Act.
The police also carried out a search operation of Baba Farid train after Wasim Akram also called the authorities about the presence of ‘bomb’ on the train which proceeded to its destination after clearance by the officials.
The accused was travelling from Karachi to Lahore on Baba Farid Express during the night journey.
The railway police have arrested the accused at the Kot Lakhpat railway station after his ‘adventure’ went awry.
