Bulgarian Ambassador in Pakistan, Aleksandar Borisov Parashkevov has urged the Sialkot-based surgical instruments’ manufacturers and exporters to come forward and explore e untapped trade market of Bulgaria to strengthen bilateral trade between Pakistan and Bulgaria.

“My country is keen to enhance bilateral trade ties with Pakistan by finding out trade and business opportunities and setting up joint ventures in different fields in Pakistan.”

Aleksandar Borisov Parashkevov was addressing an important of surgical instruments exporters held at Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (SIMAP) on Friday.

Pakistan Surgical Industry’s Leader Muhammad Jehangir Bajwa presided over the meeting.

The ambassador also showed keen interest in the import of Sialkot-made surgical instruments direct from Sialkot-Pakistan instead of purchasing these instruments from other countries on much high prices.

Mr Aleksandar Parashkevov vowed to make all-out sincere efforts to boost mutual trade ties between Pakistan and Bulgaria.

“The time is ripe to further strengthen the mutual trade ties.”

On the occasion, Jehangir Bajwa said that Sialkot-made surgical instruments could find a good market in Bulgaria. He said that most of the European countries including USA, Germany, Italy, France etc were importing Sialkot-Pakistan made surgical instruments for re-sale purposes.

During the meeting, the Sialkot exporters stressed the need for import of Sialkot-made surgical instruments direct from Sialkot-Pakistan instead of purchasing the instruments from European countries on very high prices.
