Shaban moon sighted in Pakistan, Shab-e-Barat on March 7

Shaban moon has been sighted in Pakistan and the first day of the month before Ramazan would fall on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the details, the Shab-e-Barat would be observed on March 7 (Tuesday).
The TV channel reported the crescent for Shaban was sighted in Punjab’s capital city Lahore and the Zonal Committee has forwarded the evidence in this regard to the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee where its chairman Abdul Khabeer Azad announced the sighting of the moon.
The Zonal Committee’s meeting was chaired by Secretary Auqaf Punjab Dr Tahir Raza Bukhari while other committee members and representatives of Met Office attended the meeting.
Saudi Arabia has already announced the sighting of the Shaban moon and is observing the first day of the Islamic month.
