Federal Minister Asad Umar Friday declared an estimated growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at 3.94 percent this fiscal year.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives declared the growth of GDP was a huge challenge in the current situation of lockdown because of Covid-19 in the country.
Asad Umar in his fresh tweet on Friday said that the National Accounts Committee had finalized the GDP growth estimate at 3.94 percent.
He said this growth in a period in which Covid-19 placed a huge challenge to the economy was extremely gratifying and proof of the success of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s economic policies.
