Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Monday said that the ‘selected’ government cannot serve Pakistan and the public properly while addressing a worker’s convention in Nowshera, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the Pakistan People’s Party thinks and works for the nation unlike other parties working for their own interests.
He said that the federation does not seem to care about the rising inflation.
PPP Chairman laid stress on the conduction of pure and just elections. He said that the worker’s fervor in Nowshera tells him that they are ready for elections and not trying to escape.
Bilawal said that the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa battled terrorism and extremism bravely and remained firm to their ideology.
The ones contesting the elections for 30 and 70 years should not rely on the establishment this time, said Bilawal.
Bilawal said that the opposition is always conspiring against the government. He demanded that the Chief Justice and Chief Election Commissioner ensure the conduction of pure and just elections as it is the only solution for the problems swamping Pakistan. The decision of the public only will be acceptable.
He said that Inflation, unemployment and poverty have reached sky-high levels and terrorism is on the rise during these hard times.
PPP leaders were present alongside Bilawal at the Nowshera worker’s convention. Arrangements were made for thousands of workers at the venue including the deployment of 300 policemen for fool-proof security.
Later, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari went to former PPP Peshawar Division President Liaquat Shabab’s residence and offered condolence to his family over Liaquat’s demise.
He expressed condolence to the son and brother of the deceased and prayed for his higher ranks.
