SSGC MD’s appointment challenged in SHC

An application was filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday, challenging the appointment of Muhammad Imran Manyar as Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Managing Director (MD), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his application, Syed Sajjad Zahoor, a citizen, prayed to the court to declare the notification of appointment issued on December 30, 2020 as null and void.
Zahoor made secretary petroleum, federal law secretary, secretary establishment, SSGC Chairman Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan chairman and SSGC MD Muhammad Imran Manyar as respondents in the case.
