Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to the Rawalpindi district to monitor public service delivery and progress on ongoing projects.

He visited the Benazir Bhutto Hospital where he interacted with patients and their attendants.

Talking to the media, he shed light on the uplift work and schemes to ensure better public service delivery.

Renovation work is going on in more than 30 hospitals, Mohsin Naqvi maintained.

The chief minister said no meeting or discussion on privatization of schools has so far been held.

He added that Rs2 billion work on the Holy Family Hospital will start from Monday.

The work is going on day and night on the ring road, he said.

Earlier, the chief minister visited the Multan district and reviewed the pace of work on healthcare and road projects.

As he noticed the violation of anti-smog rules, the chief minister called the deputy commission and ordered a crackdown on brick kilns.

He said all such kilns be sealed off and stern action be taken against the owner.
