Parliament will approve constitutional draft at all cost: Kh Asif

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the government is set to approve the constitutional amendments draft from both Houses of the parliament at all cost, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Adviser to PM on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that the proposed amendments will be passed on Sunday however, government wanted to take JUI chief on board as the government wanted that Maulana Fazl present the draft of the amendments in the parliament.

Federal Minister Musaddik Malik said that Federal Cabinet has approved the draft of the amendments. He said the government believed in dialogue.

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that for the approval of the draft, government has lots of options in hands and today the constitutional bill will be passed. He claimed that despite all other options in hands, the government wanted to create consensus among major political parties regarding the draft.
