Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf legal team has vowed they would not return from the Lahore Deputy Commissioner's office without taking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for holding a party’s rally in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The legal team following the Lahore High Court's order reached the DC office to take the NOC. Lahore DC Syed Musa Raza and DIG operation Faisal Kamran also reached the office.
Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed a plea of the government seeking a ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Lahore rally, scheduled to take place tomorrow (September 21).
The team was told unofficially that the government is ready to issue the permission in line with LHC’s verdict, however, the administration is discussing the venue for the rally.
Talking to the media, the legal team chief said that they would not return without taking NOC from the DCO office.
