Constable gets reward of Rs100,000 for rescuing girls stuck in downpour

Police Constable Sikandar has been awarded a cash prize and certificate for rescuing three girls from drowning in the Korangi crossing stream in Karachi on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the constable was awarded by the additional Inspector General of Karachi with Rs100,000 and a certificate of appreciation.
Constable Sikander performed the daring act of saving girls on Friday, August 19.
A day earlier, a family of four died as the heavy flood in the Malir river swooped their car out.
IG Police Ghulam Nabi Memon appreciated Sikandar a lot for his bravery and courage as he acted selflessly to save the lives of the children.
