Medical Board recommends surgery for left arm of Domestic violence survivor Rizwana

Rizwana, a survivor of domestic violence, has completed her medical check-up, marking a crucial step towards her recovery journey, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.

The Medical Board overseeing her case has recommended surgery for her left arm, indicating the severity of her injuries.

Following the surgical procedure, scheduled for Rizwana's left arm, the Medical Board plans to conduct another examination of her injuries tomorrow.

However, the road to recovery has been challenging for Rizwana, who has struggled due to inadequate nourishment and confinement at home.

The Medical Board has advised that Rizwana be transferred to the Child Protection Bureau rather than returning home.

Alongside medical treatment, the Board emphasizes the importance of counselling and other resources to aid Rizwana in overcoming the trauma she has endured.
