Twitter trends and active trolls are a match made in heaven. The memes tend to go even more viral, if a famous person is involved. The latest subject is Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his Beti Bachao Beti Patao gaffe.
The Indian prime minister was delivering a speech. He was going good, for the great orator he is, and then something happened which proved to be food for thought for memers and trolls. In his speech, Modi was talking about the Beti Bachao Beti Parhao campaign. However, he stumbled and said Beti Patao, instead of Beti Parhao.
Countless memes have already surfaced on the internet, and more are surely coming. A lot of users repeatedly asked whether they had heard Modi’s speech correctly. Many users joked about how the Indian prime minister said that Beti Bachao Beti Patao has been a great success. Many of these memes bought up recent Teleprompter memes as well.
A user claimed that Beti Bachao Beti Parhao is Modi’s new campaign, and nothing less should be expected from the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).
