PML-N leaders at a Joint Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday urged the party bigwigs to consider loyal workers for party offices instead of relatives of influential party men during party’s reorganisation.
They told Rana Sanaullah Khan that the man who violated the party discipline was given a key position in the party and asked him to review the decision.
On this occasion, many party representatives expressed their concern at the party’s policy. They asked the party leadership to clarify if the PML-N will play its role like a true opposition or will simply continue to just pass time like it is doing right now. They said the PML-N should lead the anti-government movement. They said that party leaders who are vocal right now are not being encouraged and those who are keeping a mum are not being held accountable for their silence. They said that some disgruntled elements in the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were also ready to extend their support to the opposition.
