Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar visited different areas of Lahore without protocol by driving around multiple vicinities and reviewed the sanitation situation in the metropolis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Chief Minister Buzdar spent about two hours on roads but the traffic did not stop at any place during his visit.

He inspected the cleaning operation at Davis Road, Shimla Pahari, Empress Road, Cooper Road, Montgomery Road, McLeod Road and Lakshmi Chowk.

Buzdar reviewed the cleanliness arrangements at The Mall, Multan Road, Lytton Road, Ferozepur Road, Shah Jamal, Shadman and other areas. He appreciated the sanitary workers for performing their duties to make the city clean for the citizens.

He directed to make Lahore zero-waste in a post-Eid cleanness operation. He also warned that he would not tolerate any negligence in this regard.

Earlier on the first day of Eidul Azha Chief Minister Buzdar visited Central Control Room of the Local Government Complex in Sanda where he reviewed the cleanliness and sanitation arrangements across Punjab and directed officers via video link to improve sanitation arrangements on all three days of Eidul Azha.

The Lahore Division Commissioner also reviewed the LWMC arrangements for cleanliness on the second day of Eid.
