Indian mortar shell recovered in Shakargarh border village

A mortar shell was discovered in the fields of the border village Sakmal, creating fear and panic among the local residents, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Sunday.
Civil Defense Officer confirmed that the recovered shell is Indian-made, measuring 51 mm and weighing 500 grams.
Asim Wahla, a member of the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), reported that the Civil Defense team promptly reached the location and seized the mortar shell.
The bomb disposal squad successfully defused the shell, ensuring the safety of the surrounding areas.
The incident has heightened concerns in the adjacent areas due to the discovery of Indian-made weapons. The authorities are investigating the matter to prevent future occurrences.
