CM Maryam Nawaz showers praises on sanitary workers for best cleanliness arrangements during Eid

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif invites sanitary workers to her office and showers praises on them for making the best cleanliness arrangements during Eid-ul Fiter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
On the occasion, CM Maryam Nawaz paid tribute and congratulated the sanitary workers for their excellent performance on Eid. Chief Minister Maryam was presented with a pencil portrait by two workers. Maryam Nawaz Sharif distributed certificates of appreciation among the sanitary workers for their excellent performance.
On the occasion, CM Maryam Nawaz inquired about the issues and challenges of women sanitary workers. Talking to the workers, CM Maryam Nawaz said, “we are bringing waste management system in all districts of Punjab and government will provide all out resources for it”. She praised sanitary workers who washed the streets like houses, sprinkled water mixed with rose water to remove the smell.
Maryam Nawaz told the workers, “we have to keep our country, province and city clean, proud”. She added that “cleanliness is not limited to Eid, clean Punjab should be like this, make Punjab shine like this every day”.
CM Maryam said, “keeping our country clean, picking up people's garbage is a noble job”. “The workers worked 20-20 hours for three days during hot summer days”. She congratulated to all the heroes for the best services. On the occasion, Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafique briefed on the CM about cleanliness drive on Eid. He said 180000 tons of waste was destroyed in three days of Eid. 18 lakh animal wastes were properly disposed of and more than 32000 biodegradable bags were distributed.
Information Minister Zahid Bukhari, Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafique, Special Assistants Zeeshan Malik, Rashid Nasrullah, MPA Sania Ashiq, Chairman LWMC Malik Bilal Zulfiqar Khokhar, Principal Secretary Sajid Zafar Dal, Secretaries, Local Government and LWMC attended the meeting.
