Woman gives birth outside Arifwala hospital after doctor’s refusal

A woman gave birth to a baby in a park outside gynaecology ward after the lady doctor's refusal to deliver her baby in Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Arifwala on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the family of the woman, even after the birth the mother kept lying on the ground for two hours but the staff did not shift her to the ward.

After sitting in the gynaecological ward for hours, the lady doctor threw her out by forcing her family to take her to a private hospital.

The family of the woman demanded that the authorities should take immediate action against negligent doctor.

However, hospital management assured them that staff have shown negligence and they are taking action against the whole shift.
