Now you can use two WhatsApp accounts on Android

WhatsApp users will soon be able to log in to two accounts on the same phone within the same app.

Meta, formerly Facebook, announced a feature allowing users to operate multiple WhatsApp accounts on the same phone.

This will allow the users to easily switch between accounts like their work and personal ones without having to log out each time or carry two phones.

For setting up the second account, the users will need a second phone number and SIM card or a dual-sim phone (physical or e-sim)

One can set it up by opening the WhatsApp settings, clicking on the arrow next to the name and then clicking “Add account”.

The privacy and notification settings on each account can be controlled individually.
