Blast near Eagle Police squad in Quetta

A blast occurred at the Musa Colony at Sariab Road in Quetta but fortunately, no one was hurt on the spot, the 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
As per the report, the Eagle Police Squad deputed for security in the area was the target of the blast but luckily all of the squad members remained safe.
The Quetta police said that the Eagle Squad personnel were the target but they were on patrol at the time of the blast so remained safe.
The police said that no casualties were reported and investigations to confirm the nature of the blast have been started.
