NAB seeks intelligence agencies help for probing graft cases

Following the restoration of corruption cases of billions of rupees following the Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict in which it had declared amendments made to the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO), 1999 null and void, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has sought the services of intelligence agencies’ officials to assist it in the probe of these cases, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
NAB officials told 24News that after the approval of Bureau Chairman Lt General (r) Nazir Ahmad, a letter had been written to agencies’ heads.
They informed that these officials, who would serve on important posts in the NAB on deputation, would start their work in a few days from now.
The officials told the channel that appointments would be made on all vacant posts in the bureau immediately.
