CDA renames Islamabad's '11th Avenue' as 'Iran Avenue'

Islamabad's "Eleventh Avenue" is renamed "Iran Avenue" by the government of Pakistan on the visit of the Iranian president to Pakistan.

Another important development has taken place in strengthening and consolidating Pakistan-Iran friendship, Islamabad's "Eleventh Avenue" has been renamed as "Iran Avenue".

After the approval, the Interior Ministry wrote a letter to the CDA officials, according to the spokesperson of CDA, the implementation of the orders to rename the highway after Iran has started. The decision has been accorded by the federal cabinet on the CDA summary through circulation.
