The condition of Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan, deteriorated on Monday afternoon after she complained of pain in her chest, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sources told 24News that however, later, doctors at the Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi examined her and declared that her health was better.

For further satisfaction, they recommended Bushra’s checkup by specialists at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), including a heart specialist, they informed.

Following this, a team of doctors from the PIMS examined her last night from 11:00 PM to 12:15 AM at her Bani Gala residence, now declared a sub-jail.

The doctors, sources disclosed, declared Bushra fully fit and advised her to exercise caution only in her eating habits.

They further said that a fresh report on the former first lady’s health had been sent to the authorities.
