ECP shows satisfaction with mobile app system for compiling election results quickly

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) authorities Tuesday expressed satisfaction with a special mobile app system prepared for compiling the results of the upcoming general elections quickly.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja presided over the ECP officials meeting to discuss the preparations for the elections on Tuesday.
Members of the Commission including the Secretary and other senior officers participated in the meeting in which, they were briefed on the system of compiling the results.
Under this system, it will be possible for the presiding officer to send the result immediately to the returning officer through the mobile app.
The Returning Officer will also be able to compile the inconclusive result with a quick and accurate vote count under this system.
The meeting was also briefed that some exercises were conducted on this system and all phases of the system were checked.
The commission expressed complete satisfaction with this system.
The ECP also reviewed the work on preparations for new delimitations and sent reminder letters to the provincial governments and the Statistics Department to provide necessary maps and other data.
