Former Prime Minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif addressed a large gathering of supporters at the Gujumta reception camp in NA-123 on Monday. He urged the people to vote for Nawaz Sharif on February 8 and make Pakistan progress again.
He said that Nawaz Sharif had built the metro bus in Lahore, which was opposed by some as a "jangla bus".
He said that the metro bus was running successfully and would be extended to Kasur. He also said that Nawaz Sharif had given laptops, scholarships, free medicines and hospitals to the people of Punjab, while Shehbaz Sharif had tried to ruin the province.
He said that if Nawaz Sharif was re-elected as the prime minister, he would continue to provide these facilities to the people under his leadership.
He said that those who did not have water in their own province were talking about water, while Punjab had both water and food. He said that February 8 was a historic day for Pakistan, and that Shehbaz Sharif would end inflation by stamping on the lion.
He concluded his speech with chants of "Pakistan Zindabad, Nawaz Sharif Zindabad".
