PM Shehbaz chairs meeting on Muharram security

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a meeting at his Model Town residence in Lahore on Saturday at which steps being taken for security during the holy month of Muharram came under discussion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources told 24News that the meeting also discussed rising prices of flour and sugar in Punjab.
The prime minister directed that steps be taken to reduce their prices.
The meeting also discussed salaries and pensions of the Punjab government employees.
PM Shehbaz, on the occasion, was briefed about administrative affairs of the province.
Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, secretary transport, secretary PND and secretary agriculture were also present at the meeting.
