Popular Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has not been arrested at Dubai Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is in Dubai but rumors about his arrest at the airport were on the air, which Rahat's music director Farooq Rao rejected.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is busy recording his songs in Dubai, said the music director.
“All the news circulating about Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is bogus," said Farooq Rao.
Talking to the media, the singer said, “I was not arrested and no such incident happened at the airport. Normal checking and questions were asked which I answered. Now I am doing my work.”
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had travelled to the United Arab Emirates for a scheduled performance but upon his arrival at the Dubai airport, he was held there for several hours.
