PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan said that Imran Khan has made it clear that there will be no talks unless the return of public mandate and the release of PTI leaders and workers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference outside Adiala Jail after meeting PTI founder, Ali Muhammad said it was no less than a miracle that he was allowed to meet PTI founder.
He said this is Adiala Jail, not Guantanamo Bay where PTI leaders and workers were not allowed to meet their leader. He questioned whether was it a crime to meet the leader. “I have met PTI founder today, will this provide any harm to the country?”.
He said that Khan's worst rival had admitted that he was an honest man. PTI leader said that the country will not run on the will of individuals but on the will of 25 million people of the country.
He asked the government that if the country was to run as per the constitution, it was not enough to hold an election, it was necessary to make the election process transparent.
Ali Muhammad expressed his anger over the attack on PTI spokesman Rauf Hasan in Islamabad. He said Rauf Hasan was a 70-year-old citizen standing with Imran Khan. He questioned, “whether with threats, Rauf Hasan and I will leave Imran Khan?”
He claimed that Imran Khan called Pakistan Zindabad all over the world. Khan's mother died with cancer but PTI founder vowed that no one else's mother will be allowed to die of cancer.
Ali Muhammad said that government was passing new laws to gag the voice of the media. He questioned why is the ban on court reporting being imposed?
He also congratulated Ch Parvez Elahi and his family. He said PTI leaders were getting relief from the courts because all cases were fake. He said soon Imran Kahn will give the protest call and the entire nation is ready for the call.
Meanwhile, PTI lawyer Naeem Haider Panjotha said that Imran Khan has been kept in death cell. He complained that PTI's legal team was abstained from hearing of 190 million pound case, adding that today PTI’s legal team was stopped outside the jail for five to six hours.
Panjotha said that a long trial in jail means that PTI founders will be punished. He said when it comes to the bail of PTI chief, government gives many excuses.
He said in the hearing so far, no allegation could be proved against PTI chief and his wife Bushra Bibi. He claimed that trustee in Al-Qadir Trust has not got any benefit while Toshakhana part four has started today.
He said PTI was standing for the rule of law. In Cipher case, FIA prosecutor has admitted that it was written in the cipher that it was necessary to remove Imran Khan from the government.
Panjotha said attack on Rauf Hassan was intolerable. He said the government has used all tactics against PTI and failed in achieving its interests.
